First Look At Chloe Bennet As Quake On 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

On the last season of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., not only did we learn that Skye was actually Daisy Johnson, but we also saw her developing the superpowers associated with Quake from the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comic book.

Now that Skye, aka Daisy, aka Quake, has reluctantly embraced her new superpowers, we'll see her new super persona this season as that character.

This summer, actress Chloe Bennet, who plays the character on the TV series, teased a photo of her getting a new haircut, as in the comics, Quake is kwown to have shorter hair. Although Quake's comic books 'do and Chloe's aren't really that similar, that teased haircut was the first look we had at the Quake character on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Now, though, we now have the first official photo of Quake's entire look, including the costume she'll wear on the new season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

"That's what was important to me, that she felt empowered to me," said Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. costume designer Ann Foley to the L.A. Times. "I wanted to stay true to some of the designs I saw in the comics. In the style lines, I wanted to pay a little bit of a tribute to her tactical ability from last season, but we also incorporated the Quake symbol into her gauntlets and on the back of her suit."

Here's Quake's comic book look:

As you can see, the designs are very similar, save for the hair. She's even wearing the gauntlets from the comics, which help Quake control her powers.

It's not just Daisy that's getting a costume makeover this season, though, according to Foley.

"I think you're definitely going to see a change in their costumes in Season 3," she said. "At the end of season one with the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D., you see a shift in the costumes — we went a little darker. Then by the time we pick up with the team in Season 2, everyone had definitely grown up and you saw a shift in the way that they were dressing. Everyone just had to grow up. With the events at the end of Season 2 now, you're going to see another shift, and the costumes will reflect a shift for everybody."

The new season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. premieres on ABC on September 29.
