2003-04 Timberwolves And 2006-07 Cavaliers Are The Latest Classic Teams Added To 'NBA 2K16'

Kevin Garnett is one of the most competitive players to ever step foot onto an NBA court. LeBron James is already considered one of the greatest players of all time.

Last season, both Hall of Fame-bound players returned to the teams that launched their NBA careers — King James jumped back to the Cleveland Cavaliers and KG suited up for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Each will additionally be available as part of the two latest classic teams available in NBA 2K16; James with the 2006-07 Cavs and Garnett with the 2003-04 T-Wolves.

These squads will be the final two classic teams announced as part of the NBA 2K's weekly Throwback Thursday series.

The 2003-04 Timberwolves finished with a Western Conference-best 58-24 record. Garnett's 24.2 points, 13.9 rebounds, five assists, 2.2 blocks and 1.5 steals per game helped power him to winning the 2004 NBA MVP award. Garnett led that team to the Western Conference Finals, where they fell to Shaquille O'Neal, Kobe Bryant and the Los Angeles Lakers in six games.

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old James led the 2006-07 Cavs to a 50-32 record in the Eastern Conference, carrying them all the way to the NBA Finals for the first time in franchise history. There, they were no match for Tim Duncan and the San Antonio Spurs, who swept Cleveland in four games.

Still, to have the option to use the 2006-07 Cavs and 2003-04 T-Wolves should definitely be fun for gamers.
