The summer is officially coming to an end, which means it's time to bring on sweater weather, hot chocolate and pumpkin-flavored everything while curling up to watch fall's TV lineup. And let's face it: the number of series premiering this fall will provide enough content to last us until winter.
But with back-to-school season about to be in full swing, it may get hard to find the time to squeeze in your favorite series. Thankfully, the popular streaming services allows us to watch on our own time — just make sure to steer clear of spoilers on social media.
Netlfix, Hulu and Amazon Instant Video all get an A+ in our book this month — showcasing the best of fall TV along with brand-new movies. Netflix is bringing Season 5 of The Walking Dead to its platform this month, along with critically acclaimed films like Up in the Air and Moonrise Kingdom. Hulu has upcoming big hits like the premieres of Heroes Reborn and The Muppets, and Amazon Prime Instant Video will be offering Avengers: Age of Ultron.
A new six-part anthology series called New Orleans, Here & Now will also be available on multiple platforms like Hulu, iTunes, Google Play, Time.com and Sundance Doc Club. To mark the 10th anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, New Orleans, Here & Now highlights six real stories from people living in New Orleans post-Katrina. The documentary series was executive-produced by Academy Award-Nominated Actress Patricia Clarkson and Golden Globe Award Winner Scott Bakula. You can watch the trailer here.
