Now that summer is winding down, you'll unfortunately have to start saying goodbye to warm weather, days at the beach and, perhaps most tragically, binge-watching movies and TV shows to your heart's content. It's true. Once fall arrives, whether you're still in school or not, your schedule seems to fill up again too, leaving less time to watch The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies in one sitting or finally catching up with Scandal before the new season begins this fall.
But if binge-watching is an activity you really want to engage in, I'm confident you'll still find time to squeeze it in. And when you do, you'll have some new movie and TV show offerings from Amazon Instant Video, whether you have unlimited access to streaming as an Amazon Prime subscriber or if you feel like purchasing some entertainment a la carte.
There's some new and recently released content coming to Amazon Prime Instant Video in September. This includes the new Amazon Original Series Hand to God starring Ron Perlman, the 2014 Sundance hit Dear White People and I Am Big Bird: The Carroll Spinney Story, the documentary about the man behind the beloved Sesame Street character. You'll also be able to stream film favorites that will make you feel all of the feels, from love to terror to laughter, such as Serendipity, The Blair Witch Project and Popeye.
If you don't have Amazon Prime or just feel like treating yourself, you can also buy some of the newest movie and TV releases through Amazon Instant Video next month. Summer blockbusters like Avengers: Age of Ultron, Pitch Perfect 2 and Magic Mike XXL will all be available to stream in September, as well as episodes of the new seasons of hit shows returning to TV this fall, including Empire, Gotham and The Blacklist, which will arrive on Amazon Instant Video the day after they air on broadcast TV. The same goes for new series like Scream Queens and Heroes Reborn making their debuts on broadcast TV this fall.
Check out the list of new movie and TV shows being added to Amazon Instant Video in September below.
