Apple fan boys and girls may want to start pitching their tents. Rumor has it that pre-orders for the new iPhone 6S and 6S Plus is just around the corner. Mark those calendars and set your alarms to hit that “Order Now” button because you might be among the first on the block to know that Sept. 11 is the date to place your order and be first in line to get the new release of iPhones.
The timing makes sense since Apple is reportedly planning a big event on Sept. 9. It has been previously speculated that this event will launch the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. As we previously reported as well, the new and improved Apple TV Box top may also be revealed, albeit without Apple TV Live for now.
If indeed Apple will begin accepting pre-orders on the 11th of September, 2 days after what many believe to be a launch event, then the new smartphones may start shipping to customers as soon as Sept. 18.
It is being anticipated that Apple will begin sending out their official invitations to the Sept. 9 event on Aug. 31. The company traditionally sends out invites a week prior to their other events.Just a few more days to find out if the event will turn out to be the much awaited unveiling of the new iPhone 6S's.
Full specs of the iPhone 6S or 6S Plus have not yet been officially released, however, if some leaks and prematurely published sales listing prove to be correct, then the new phones will have shared features such as an A9 processor, 2GB od RAM under the hood, Force Touch, and an improved Touch ID system.
In addition to the now-standard silver and gold variant, the new models may also come in a classy Rose Gold and Space Gray as well.
