Mortal Kombat X is touted among the best games this year and now its creator Ed Boon of NetherRealm Studios has teased the Kombat Pack 2 DLC, raising hopes that more characters will be added to the popular title.
Boon took to Twitter to tease #StraightOutta for Mortal Kombat X fans, hinting at a Kombat Pack 2 DLC as the message was posted immediately after his tweet which showed off the original fighters of the Kombat Pack i.e. Tremor, Tanya, Jason Voorhees and Predator.
To further fuel speculations, the image simply has references to KP1 or Kombat Pack 1 and was accompanied by a winky smiley from Boon.
The tweet raises hopes that NetherRealm has a sequel i.e. Kombat Pack 2 DLC in the works and will likely continue to offer support for the game with additional content.
However, since NetherRealm is yet to announce the Kombat Pack 2 DLC officially, gamers are in the dark about what the season pass could bring their way - if it is actually in the works. Gamers were under the impression that Tremor would be the last character for Mortal Kombat X DLC.
However, Boon has been toying with fans and throwing hints their way intermittently and even suggesting that a Klassic Tremor would be a good thing.
It is rumored that the next character addition to the game's DLC will be Spawn. Thus far, Boon has teased a Kombat Kast, Story Pack, Spawn and even a Jurassic Kombat.
As the rumors of whether a Kombat Pack 2 DLC that will bring more characters and skins gamers' way gather momentum, the continuous references to the current season pass as KP1 seem to suggest that a new DLC is on its way.
