Anthony Davis, James Harden and Stephen Curry are easily three of the top superstars in the NBA... and they're more than represented that way in screenshots released by 2K for its highly anticipated NBA 2K16 title.
2K took to its Twitter account Wednesday, August 5, and released these crisp screenshots of the three superstars and their cover athletes for the upcoming video game, which is scheduled for a September 29 release.
From the looks of it, these highly detailed screenshots will only generate more hype for the upcoming title in the 2K series. They follow a late-July report about the game allowing three-team trades, franchise relocation, the inclusion of summer leagues and a revamped draft in the MyGM mode.
There's also the new 2K Pro-Am mode and news that NBA 2K16 is reportedly featuring at least 10 NCAA teams. With all that and Spike Lee directing the game's MyCareer feature for a more cinematic vibe and captivating story — 2K16 figures to be one of the best titles in the series' recent memory.
"We follow a kid through the trials and tribulations of being a top high school player and the decisions he has to make," said Lee, who shot a total of 90 minutes – spelling about 12 hours of in-game drama – to USA Today in June.
Gamers can pre-order NBA 2K16 to begin playing it September 25, four days prior to its release date.
