Jena Malone Could Play Barbara Gordon In 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice'

We've long heard that Jena Malone's role in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice would be that of Robin, who is also known as Carrie Kelly. However, it seems that rumor has been replaced with another.

New word claimed that Malone will play Barbara Gordon, who is also Batgirl and Oracle in the comics. This would make more sense since it appears as if Bruce Wayne, after losing a Robin at the hands of the Joker, would not be recruiting another.

If the rumor is indeed true, we doubt Zack Snyder would allow her to become Batgirl. In all honesty, Oracle is a better fit, and she would be of more help to Batman and the Justice League in that regard.

Still, anything is possible, and we could see Malone suit up in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as none other than Batgirl.

She doesn't seem to have a huge role to play here due to the amount of things going on. Unless the film is three hours long, expect only a few scenes with Malone as Barbara Gordon.

We should bear in mind that Victor Stone will also show up in the movie and, since we haven't heard much about him, we also suspect his role would be minor.

Who is Victor Stone? He's Cyborg, the character who was so severely injured that his father had to use his new technology breakthrough to transform Stone into a man who is also a machine, although sometimes he comes off more machine than human.

Aquaman could show up in the movie as well. Zack Snyder did mention that after watching Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, fans will understand that he exists, but that doesn't necessarily mean that he will show his scaly head.

It could mean that the government or some other group has figured out that there is a civilization under the sea, and that the leader is known as Aquaman.
