'Final Fantasy Type-0 HD' Is Coming To PC With A Number Of Improvements

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD released to mostly positive reviews on consoles back in March. It's a solid entry in the Final Fantasy series and a much darker tale than many longtime players of the franchise may be used to. If you haven't yet played it or don't yet own an Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you're in luck. The game is coming to PC in August, with a number of improvements over its console counterpart.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD on PC will add a number of graphical upgrades over the console versions, including higher resolution visuals and scalable motion blur settings. The game will also be even bloodier than the game's first release, with the inclusion of "increased blood levels." Gameplay will also see some improvements in the form of an upgraded battle camera and character speed boosts.

Because the game is coming out on Steam, all the usual bells and whistles will be coming with the game as well. It will feature controller support, achievements and Steam trading cards.

"Developing Final Fantasy Type-0 HD for Steam gave us the opportunity to fully realize our original vision of the game in an enhanced and refined experience exclusively for PC players," said Director Hajime Tabata in a statement.
