Gamers who want to know how to make their Vault Dwellers working at their optimum capacity or want to take their Fallout 4 game a step above the rest will now have a little help. Bethesda has announed that it has teamed up with strategy guide maker Prima Games to write the officially licensed Fallout 4 guide titled Vault Dweller's Survival Guide.
The guide will be 400 pages long and will be available as a regular paperback, a limited edition hardbound and as an e-guide. The book is set to be launched on Nov. 10 alongside the game's official release.
Those who want to get their hands on a physical copy of the book can expect to pay $29.99. The hardbound edition, which will also contain some content not available in the paperback version, will sell for $39.99, while the digital version of the guide will be available for download at $9.99.
The guide will be a big bonus for those looking for the best way to survive the wasteland of Fallout 4 when the game finally hits the shelves in the fall.
The Prima Games team behind the Fallout 4 guide is the same one that wrote the official strategy guide for The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim. According to a statement made by the company, the guide will have everything you will need to make it out of Vault 111 and survive the post-nuclear world of the Commonwealth.
As reported on Bethesda's official blog, the guide will contain detailed maps of where to find the best loot, important items, and strategic locations; walkthroughs to help you through tough challenges; all the data on specs and perks for armour, weapons, items, and creatures you'll come across; and details on crafting the best materials possible based on the thousands of items to collect, build and upgrade.
The book will also have a free mobile-friendly e-guide with content that will be regularly updated so you can play Fallout 4 with the handy guide ready to help you out as a second screen in a pinch.
"This guide, which would certainly make lone wanderer proud, is filled with details to help you survive and thrive in Boston and its surrounding areas," wrote Matt Grandstaff on the Bethesda Blog on Monday.
The guides are already available for pre-order on Prima's website.
