Giant Man Could Appear In 'Captain America: Civil War'

Ant-Man is set to become Giant Man? It seems ever so likely, and we can't wait to see if this happens in Captain America: Civil War.

Director of Ant-Man, Peyton Reed, spoke in an interview with Screen Junkies about the character and the possibility of him taking on the Giant Man form in the future. Both Scott Lang and Hank Pym have taken the form of Giant Man in the comics, so it would make sense if they would do the same thing here.

"Listen, I think with Hank Pym and Scott Lang, and with that technology, I think it's safe to say at some point somewhere you're going to see some real growth," said Reed, before pausing to look at the camera, "For that character. I hedge my bet there, because it could be sort of growth as a human being, emotional growth, or literal giant growth. There's a good chance of that."

Right now, the technology available is only capable of shrinking humans and objects and revert them back to their normal size. We're sure Hank Pym will be working on something to enlarge humans and objects, so we can't wait to see it happen.

The big question is whether or not it would be wise to introduce the Giant Man form so early in Captain America: Civil War. In all honesty, we do not see the need for it at the moment, especially since Civil War will be filled with heroes and villains, which means Ant-Man will likely only get a small role.

We're not certain what the threat is in Captain America: Civil War, but we doubt it is going to be so dangerous that the directors would need to introduce Giant Man into the fray.

Save the Giant Man form for Ant-Man 2, or for the next two Avengers movies since those aim to place Thanos as the main bad guy. Giant Man would do well here against Thanos and his minions.

At the end of the day, though, we can only hope the directors and writers do the correct thing.
