Since Fallout Shelter was released in June for iOS devices, Android users have been wondering when they can get their hands on this hit mobile game. Well, the wait is finally over.
Fallout Shelter will be coming to Android August 13, Bethesda announced at QuakeCon 2015, as reported by IGN. That same day, the iOS version of the game will get an update that includes new features, such as new attacks and enemies, one of which will be named Deathclaws, special units like Mr. Handy, who is originally from the Fallout series, and Molerats.
Fallout Shelter is a strategy and simulation game that has players build and manage a vault and its inhabitants after a nuclear disaster has destroyed the planet. The mobile game, which was a surprise announcement from Bethesda at this year's E3, has been hugely successful since its initial launch on iOS devices last month. Fallout Shelter reportedly earned $5.1 million in the first two weeks after its release, according to a recent report by SuperData, a market research firm for digital gaming.
It's no wonder Android users have been so eager to try this game out.
