This Fan's 'Witcher 3' Parody Video Hilariously Sums Up Geralt's Journey

You know a video game has made its mark on pop culture when fans start producing parodies — and that's exactly what YouTuber Bitter Strike! Cartoons just did with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

If you've played The Witcher 3 all the way through, you'll know the story of Geralt's final journey as he hunts for Ciri and tries to figure out how to stop the Wild Hunt — who want her for themselves. It's an often dark story, and as we learn throughout Geralt's travels, being a Witcher isn't easy.

In this parody video, titled The Witchar: Wicked Hunt, we see that story told in a new and animated way. Mostly hilarious, especially if you've played the entire game, you'll see a lot of familiar faces and laugh at the game's in-jokes. Yes, the unicorn puts in an appearance. And yes, Geralt does spend some time collecting mushrooms ("yeah, that's what I call alchemy").

The video also covers some of Geralt's life as he carries out side missions — at the request of villagers who ask for aid when someone's fallen down a well or if they need a monster killed.

Please note that the following video is NSFW.

Of course, you might find yourself wondering why Geralt sits down with the Wild Hunt to play chess — when it should probably be Gwent, the popular card game in The Witcher 3 that players can tackle on the side. Just another Witcher – or rather Witchar – mystery.

For those gamers still journeying with Geralt, video game developer CD Projekt Red plans on releasing its 15th DLC pack this week, which includes new finisher animations. Previous DLC included new costumes for Triss, Ciri and Yennefer, with new missions and new armor for Geralt.

Next week sees the release of the final DLC pack for The Witcher 3, but no details have been revealed about what will be included, only a tweet from the company promising it would "end on a high note."
