The 1.07 patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has started rolling out to PlayStation 4 (PS4), Microsoft Xbox One and PC.
The PS4 update weighs 7.54GB while the Xbox One patch is of 7.3GB. Here is a list of some of the features and fixes that the latest update brings.
Features
The update introduces an alternative movement style for Geralt. Gamers will have to enable the new movement style from Gameplay/Movement Response submenu.
The 1.07 patch brings several changes in some game-world areas that prevent players from progressing quests unexpectedly.
Objectives and map-pins for multiple quests are now improved.
Players can now access their stash from different areas of the world. The location of the stash will also be marked on the map.
Alchemy and all other crafting components weigh nothing after the update has been downloaded.
Spelling and wording errors have been fixed in localized versions of the game.
The latest update also brings several enhancements in the game streaming system.
"Players should experience fewer blurred textures, NPC spawn times should be markedly reduced, and there should be an overall improvement in the speed with which game assets are loaded. Streaming system improvements should be most noticeable on consoles and systems with non-SSD drives," stated the change log of 1.07 patch.
The game performance in the swamps of the No Man's Land region has been improved.
The overall performance and stability of the game has been improved with the latest update.
Now users will get a warning message when there is not enough space on the disk and the user want to create a new game.
"The Contract: Devil by the Well quest no longer counts towards the Geralt: The Professional achievement," adds the change log.
The latest update introduces a new feature that highlights current features in the Repair panel, which will facilitate prioritization of repairs needed to items.
Unread and read books will now be marked differently in the Inventory panel.
Fixes
The update will fix an issue that resulted a player's horse not to fall properly on the ground.
The 1.07 patch fixes a problem where a player would be locked into the aiming animation if hit while throwing a bomb on horseback.
The patch will also include a number of collision fixes.
The new update also resolves a bug where Wild Hunt warriors remained present after a player completed the main storyline.
Players will not be allowed to loot gold from one chest on multiple occasions.
Durability of some alternative weapons would not drop as projected. With the update the durability will fall as intended.
On some occasions the stamina of players did not re-generate properly. The update will address the issue and now stamina will re-generate properly.
