Mirror's Edge: Catalyst Collector's Edition is now officially available for pre-order and the package includes several goodies.
Not too long ago, at E3 2015, DICE confirmed that Mirror's Edge: Catalyst would soon arrive as the next sequel in the popular Mirror's Edge series. As expected with new installments, the sequel will bring various improvements over the previous iteration, adding a number of new features.
The biggest change is that the new installment is now an open world game, which should appease players who previously complained about the linearity of the levels in the first Mirror's Edge. The collector's edition, meanwhile, brings a number of other treats.
Fans of the popular series can now pre-order the recently announced Mirror's Edge: Catalyst Collector's Edition, and developer DICE has officially detailed what comes in the box. Here's what you'll get:
- 14-inch tall diorama with Faith as an adult, as well as a young kid
- Exclusive Steel book
- Exclusive lithograph
- 10 concept pieces
- Temporary tattoo of the logo
- Temporary tattoo like the one Faith has on her arm
- Storage box
"The Collector's Edition was made to help foster player's affinity with our heroine, Faith, as she grows up and makes a stand against oppression, represented by a beautiful adult and young Faith real life diorama that stands 14 inches tall," touted the announcement.
The temporary tattoos will make players feel part of the runner's group, while the concept art and lithograph will transport players behind the scenes to give them a glimpse of the game's creation process.
The collector's edition with all of these goodies does not come very cheap, however, as the whole package carries a $199.99 price tag. Interested customers can now also pre-order the game itself online, as well as through GameStop stores across North America, with other retailers to join the party soon. Mirror's Edge: Catalyst Collector's Edition will launch on the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
It's also worth pointing out that pre-ordering Mirror's Edge: Catalyst will also bring you a Combat Runner Kit or Speed Runner Kit. At the same time, those who pre-order the PC version of the game through EA's Origin will also get access to both the Combat Runner Kit and the Speed Runner Kit.
Mirror's Edge: Catalyst is set to make its commercial debut on Feb. 23, 2016, hitting the aforementioned platforms.
