With the theater release less than a month away, 20th Century Fox just put out three new international movie posters for Fantastic Four.
Directed by Josh Trank, and starring Miles Teller (Mr. Fantastic), Kate Mara (The Invisible Woman), Michael B. Jordan (The Human Torch), and Jamie Bell (The Thing), the latest reboot film – based on the Marvel comic book characters created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby – follows a younger version of the superhero team, focusing on their newly gained powers.
And the Fantastic Four definitely look like they're ready for action in the new posters.
The first poster is set behind the city skyline, with the face of Doctor Doom (played by Toby Kebbell) appearing in the background. The Invisible Woman crouches down with palms up as she harnesses her power, with The Human Touch ablaze overhead, above Mr. Fantastic, who is staring intensely into the distance. The Thing centers the poster with a mean mug, looking ready to throw a punch.
The second poster shows The Thing in the same pose, this time in the background, with the other three standing in the forefront. Reed Richards, or should we say Mr. Fantastic, is featured in the middle with Sue Storm/The Invisible Woman to the left, and Johnny Storm/The Human Torch to the right. This time, The Human Torch only has fire burning on his arms.
The final poster shows the Fantastic Four walking stoically through the city. Destruction can be glimpsed in the cracked street, as comet-like fire falls from the sky.
According to the official movie description, the reboot is based on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternative universe, which is how they get their powers: "The four must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy."
Fantastic Four will hit theaters on August 7.
