Warcraft Movie Trailer Expected To Debut At Comic-Con This Weekend

It's almost the middle of the week, which means the weekend is not too far away and one of the year's most exciting events is about to take place.

Every year hundreds of fans and gamers make their way to the San Diego Comic-Con expecting to be thrilled and awed with the newest releases and get the latest updates on their favorite games, TV shows, graphic novels and film franchises. This year, attendees will be in for a real treat as the highly anticipated Warcraft movie trailer is expected to debut at the event.

Legendary Pictures is said to unveil to the Comic-Con public a trailer for the Duncan Jones movie based on the famous Blizzard Entertainment game with the same name on July 11. A trailer for the movie was shown at BlizzCon in 2014, but attendees were warned against sharing details of what they saw on the clip, leaving many of us drooling for any information we can get.

The unveiling of the Warcraft trailer this weekend will be a first for many and is one of the most talked about parts of Comic-Con. The film is poised to be a 3D epic adventure that depicts a world-colliding conflict between two tribes.

"It's been an incredibly ambitious thing. I think we've delivered something pretty special. We've delivered as far as the film goes, but the challenge is going to be to get people into the seats in the cinemas in the first place, to find a way to convince people who haven't played Warcraft," Jones said.

It will be interesting to see how Jones' vision for Warcraft will translate into film. Warcraft is currently in post-production and stars like Ben Foster, Toby Kebbell, Dominic Cooper, Travis Fimmel, and Rob Kazinsky have taken on the iconic characters of the popular game.

Warcraft opens in cinemas in June 2016, but until then we will just have to wait for the teasers, additional trailers and perhaps some pre-movie merchandise to keep us going.
