Bobbi Kristina Brown Now In Hospice Care As Nick Gordon Faces Accusation Of Abuse

Bobbi Kristina Brown, the only child of the late singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was moved into hospice care on Wednesday.

She has been in a medically induced coma for the past five months while her family battled it out online with her boyfriend Nick Gordon concerning visitation rights and his alleged involvement in her injury.

As Brown's family still prays for a miracle, Gordon is being charged with abuse in relation to the case.

In a statement, her aunt Pat Houston said: "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate. As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

The Brown family consulted with a top brain specialist in Chicago who informed them that Bobbi Kristina had no hope of coming out of the coma. As part of the family's decision to let her die naturally and in peace, Bobbi has been taken off all her medications.

As the Brown family is awaiting what will happen to Bobbi, her former boyfriend Nick Gordon is being hit with a lawsuit by court-appointed conservator Bedelia Hargrove for causing Bobbi the life-threatening injuries she is suffering and for stealing from her bank account while she is in a coma.

The suit against Gordon alleges that he began to physically beat Bobbi Kristina and attempted to take control of the funds she inherited from Whitney after the singer's death. It claims that even after Bobbi was hospitalized, Gordon continued to access her account, without the family's prior knowledge, and stole over $11,000.

Gordon is accused of assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, unjust enrichment and conversion, and misrepresenting his relationship with Bobbi. The suit requests at least $10 million in damages for the Brown family.

"This lawsuit represents our collective efforts to get justice for Bobbi Kristina," Hargrove said.

Gordon began dating Bobbi Kristina after the death of Whitney Houston who partially raised him as an informally adopted son. The couple often referred to each other as husband and wife but they were never legally married.

In Jan. 31, Bobbi and Nick were heard having a loud argument in their home. Later that day, she was found unresponsive and unconscious in a bathtub with her mouth swollen and a tooth knocked out. The suit claims that, prior to the incident, Bobbi disclosed to an unidentified third party that Nick was "not the man she thought he was."

The Brown family barred Gordon from visiting Bobbi in the hospital after altercations with Brown family members in February.
