'The Witcher 3' Free DLC For This Week Includes A New Quest And Armor Set

Another week, another new batch of DLC coming to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This week's DLC may not only affect gameplay but also the look of The Witcher 3.

The new DLC is free and includes a new "Skellige's Most Wanted" contract as well as a Skellige Armor Set. The DLC will be available later this week. You can get a sneak peek of what it will look like in the tweet below.

Plenty of new DLC has come to The Witcher 3 since it was released on May 19. This includes new armor sets, alternative looks, weapons, quests, contracts and a Gwent card set. CD Projekt Red has said that 16 pieces will be added to the game in total, so there's more on the way this summer.

The developer also previously announced that The Witcher 3 will be getting two major paid DLC expansions that will bring more than 30 hours of new gameplay. That's in addition to the more than 200 hours of content already available in the game, CD Projekt Red's Senior Game Designer Damien Monnier revealed on Twitter in March.

With all of this content, CD Projekt Red clearly knows how to keep fans interested in The Witcher series and to keep them coming back for more. It's probably no surprise then that the game sold more than four million copies in its first two weeks in stores.
