OnePlus has negated previous reports about the price of its upcoming OnePlus 2 being $322. The company confirms the cost will definitely be higher than that after incorporating the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chip processor under the hood of its next flagship smartphone.
Spectators expect that the OnePlus 2 will be offered at a higher price for its better design and boosted specs compared to the OnePlus One. The company's first flagship's initial pricing was $299 for the 16 GB model and $349 for the 64 GB model.
However, for OnePlus to maintain its title "Flagship Killer," the OnePlus 2 should be priced at a lower cost when matched with other flagship smartphones. The best-case scenario for fans is a starting price of $349 for its lower internal storage variant.
OnePlus also posted a "heavily Photoshopped" picture of its group holding a hidden OnePlus 2 handset with a big caption that they are mad - mad about the criticism that it should have not used the controversial Snapdragon 810 on its next smartphone.
The company claims it is very confident of its products and believes that the successor to its flagship killer has the best components available in the market.
The company assures its fans and critics that OnePlus 2 will be much cooler than any other phone, both figuratively and literally, and we honestly hope so too. With all the publicity and almost daily updates for the OnePlus 2, fans surely cannot wait for OnePlus to release its next flagship killer.
