Game 2 Of The NBA Finals By The Numbers

We're only two games into these NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors and already it has created history. The teams have battled it out to back-to-back overtime games, marking the first Finals to ever begin with a pair of OTs.

On Sunday night, the Cavaliers scored a 95-93 overtime win over the Warriors to knot the series at 1-1. Game 3 shifts to Cleveland on Tuesday night. Here are all the numbers you need to know about Game 2.

LeBron James had a triple-double of 39 points, 16 rebounds and 11 assists, becoming the second player in Finals' history—following Hall of Famer James Worthy—to notch a stat line of at least 35 points, 15 boards and 10 assists. All hail, King James!

With the incredible effort, King James has the second-most 30-point, 10-rebound and 10-assist postseason games with 7, trailing only Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson, who has 8.

King James also has 5 Finals' triple-doubles, only following Hall of Famer Magic Johnson, who has 8 triple-doubles in the Finals.

When defended by Cavaliers guard Matthew Dellavedova, NBA MVP Stephen Curry shot 0-for-8 from the floor, 0-for-5 from beyond the arc and committed 4 turnovers.

Curry finished shooting 5-of-23 from the field, including 2-of-15 from three-point range, for 19 points.

Curry's 15 three-point attempts and 13 misses from beyond the arc are highs for the Finals.

His Splash Brothers backcourt mate, Klay Thompson, shot 14-of-28 from the field for a team-high 34 points.

The Cavs won the game, despite shooting 32.2 percent from the field.

Playing since 1970, the Cavaliers' Sunday night victory gives the franchise 1 win in the Finals.

Tied 1-1, the winner of Game 3 goes on to win the Finals 84 percent of the time, making Tuesday night's matchup that much more pivotal.
