Bethesda has been teasing the existence of Fallout 4 for the last few days, but it looks like the teasing is over.
Earlier this morning, the official website for Fallout 4 went live, showing off the first — and mighty impressive, we must say — screenshot from the game. And then just as quick, the website went offline. Did someone hit the "publish" button by accident?
The screenshot features a post-apocalyptic garage, and it's loaded with easter eggs and other goodies that Fallout fans will find familiar. Those items include a new version of the iconic Power Armor, several references to Nuka Cola, a Vault Boy figurine, several weapons hanging up on the wall, a canine companion and much more. Click on the image below for a super high-res version.
The website also revealed the first trailer for the game, which we've embedded below. It's a work of art, and appears to have been filmed entirely in-game, using Fallout 4's game engine.
Lastly, we have a first look at the game's box art as well.
Fallout 4, which will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, is expected to have a big presence at this year's E3. Bethesday is holding its very first E3 press conference ever on Sunday, June 14, where Fallout 4 and Doom 4 are both likely to be shown off.
