Iron Man Wraps Available For iPhone 6 [Video]

Specially designed Iron Man wraps are now available for Apple's iPhone 6. The wraps also include a Lightning Dock option for an additional fee.

We recently reported that Samsung has officially partnered with Marvel to create an Iron Man edition of the Samsung Galaxy 6 Edge. The Iron Man Edition adorns one of Samsung's latest flagship smartphones with a red and gold motif highlighting the character. The special variant is only available in Korea for now, and only for the dual sided curved display version of the standard Galaxy S6. Whether the Iron Man edition of the Galaxy S6 Edge will ever hit the U.S. and other markets remains to be seen, although the manufacturer did confirm upcoming release for China and Hong Kong.

Iron Man fans that prefer Apple and don't want to switch to Samsung can now give their iPhone the Iron Man treatment thanks to a set of stickers made by Slickwraps. "Although it's not a titanium alloy, the new Hero Collection from Slickwraps will give your iPhone 6 its own suit of iron armor. Made from state-of-the-art material and adhesive, the bold metallic red and gold will be sure to turn heads and make even genius, billionaire super heroes jealous," claims the company.

The wraps include a front and back sticker, two Apple cut out options, and two home button color options, and retails for $24.95. The company even offers an additional add on wrap for your Apple Lightning Dock which costs an additional $4, giving your Apple setup the full Iron Man treatment.

Notice that nowhere in their promotional material does Slickwraps specifically mention the Iron Man character, movie, or comic. Instead, they slyly allude to the connection, in order to avoid copyright infringement claims. Only Samsung has an official deal in place to bring Iron Man to a smartphone, and that is the Galaxy S6 Edge right now, with no word on whether this super hero power will make it to other devices.
