The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been out in the wild for a little more than a week now, and developer CD Projekt Red is wasting no time improving the game.
Two patches have already been released on PC, but console players in certain regions, like the U.S., are still waiting to see the updates. Patch 1.03 squashes a number of bugs found in the title and looks to improve game stability. Players can expect improved sound effects and visuals – the game's foliage should look a little nicer – in addition to better performance during cutscenes and modifications to the respawn timers for certain NPCs and lots more.
Gwent players can also rejoice, as the patch should be bringing some UI adjustments and stability improvements to Witcher 3's popular card game. And for gamers on Xbox One, the patch will lock the game's framerate at 30 frames-per-second, which should provide a more stable gaming experience.
The only downside is that the patch is not yet available everywhere. The United States is conspicuously absent from a list of around 80 countries — but CD Projekt Red said the patch will soon be available worldwide. In addition to the patch, gamers can begin to download the first of the Witcher 3's free DLC content, which offers a new look for Yennefer as well as additional quests.
