Got yourself an Apple Watch but still hankering for the bands to add a stylish edge to your smartwatch? You're in luck as the Apple Watch Bands are now not just available online but also in select brick-and-mortar Apple Stores.
According to posts on social media, select Apple retail outlets in the U.S. have started stocking the Apple Watch Bands, which have so far just been available for purchase online—just like the Apple Watch, which launched on April 10.
A tweet from @AppleRadar suggests that some stores in Miami are stocking the Watch Bands. The accompanying image validates the claim and reveals that the Miami store is indeed stocking both the Sport Band and Classic Buckle in multiple hues.
The Apple Watch has several Watch Bands a user can choose from, such as the Sport Band, Classic Buckle, Modern Buckle, Milanese Loop, Leather Loop and the Link Bracelet.
The Sport Band straps are the cheapest, starting at $49, followed by the Milanese Loop and Classic Buckle, which both start at $149 a pop. The Modern Buckle will set you back by $249 (for 38mm) and the most expensive of the lot is the Link Bracelet, which starts at $449.
Corroborating the Twitter post from AppleRadar is a report from publication TechnoBuffalo, which called the Apple Store to check on the availability of the Watch Bands. However, they were informed that the products were not in stock. A visit to the store threw up a surprise as the folks at the publication found that the Apple Store at Irvine Spectrum had the 42mm Sport Band in stock in black, green, blue and white.
The Apple Watch Bands can be purchased online but those who want to try on the straps before purchasing could head out to their nearest Apple Store to check if the same is in stock.
With the Apple Watch anticipated to make its way to Apple retail stores by June, consumers will soon be spoilt for choice and will not have to be limited to online purchases.
