The euphoria of hearing your name, followed by the words "come on down," on The Price is Right could make you do some crazy things.
As the host of the long-running daytime game show, Drew Carey sees it every day. But on Monday, a contestant managed to make even Carey laugh.
After the contestant took a spin on the big wheel, Carey asked if there's anyone back home he'd like to say hi to. The man, an Ohio native, responded his wife, friends and family and... LeBron James. The fact that he didn't even blink an eye as he said it only adds to the hilarity.
"Hi LeBron!" Carey said right on cue.
"Nobody ever says hi to LeBron anymore," Carey joked on. "Poor LeBron is sitting at home, having cereal, watching The Price is Right."
We're sure Carey didn't mind the shout-out, considering he's a Cleveland, Ohio native himself. You know, the same Cleveland that James stars for and the same Ohio that James calls home.
But oddly enough, the contestant shouting out LeBron proved to be the second funniest moment in this clip. That's because after the guy's spin was complete, Carey jokingly asked the next contestant, an older woman, if she wanted to say hi to LeBron, too. Her response? "Who?"
Wow... he's only the best basketball player in the world and one of the most-recognized celebs walking the face of the Earth. Really? Hey, maybe she was really focused on spinning the wheel and nothing else. She may not know who King James is — but she was sure locked in like LeBron is on the court.
