Don't ever forget the name Sami Zayn. John Cena won't.
Continuing his U.S. Open Challenge on RAW on Monday night, Cena called out anybody willing backstage to meet him face-to-face in the squared circle.
The United States champion got more than he bargained for, though, when WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart came out and introduced NXT standout Sami Zayn.
Zayn came out to a raucous response in front of his hometown Montreal crowd and then backed up the electricity with a plethora of unbelievable moves.
Yes, a tornado DDT diving through the ropes on the outside of the ring constitutes as unbelievable.
If you didn't know Zayn from NXT, you'll know him know. He sent the WWE Universe into a frenzy, nearly upsetting Cena in the biggest match of his life. Cena did eventually nail the Attitude Adjustment for the win, but not before Zayn earned his full respect.
Not to mention respect and adoration from fans.
RAW's other key highlight was the main event, pitting Roman Reigns against Randy Orton. Of course, it wouldn't remain a one-on-one match for long with Kane, Seth Rollins and J & J Security all interfering. Reigns flew over the top rope-Undertaker Wrestlemania style-and cleared house.
Within seconds, Dean Ambrose came running down the ramp, going right at Rollins and taking out J & J. That was bound to happen, as it was announced earlier in the evening that Payback's main event would now be a Fatal 4-Way between Reigns, Rollins, Orton and Ambrose.
And just like that, the four men involved in the Fatal 4-Way were all left in the ring together. Reigns dropped Rollins with a spear, but the Viper crept up behind him and nailed him with an RKO. As Orton stood over a fallen Reigns, Ambrose connected with the Dirty Deeds to be the last man standing. Will this be a preview of what's to come at Payback for the Lunatic Fringe?
