Watch Two Deleted Scenes From ‘The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1’

Fans of The Hunger Games franchise do not have to starve for new scenes any longer as they await the final film's November 20, 2015 release.

To announce the Digital HD release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1, Liongate has debuted two deleted scenes that didn't make it into the theatrical cut.

The first scene shows the relationship between the villainous President Snow (played by Donald Sutherland) and District 12's Peeta (played by Josh Hutcherson).

President Snow is seen watching Katniss and Peeta hug after a near-death experience during the Games on a hologram, when he receives a call from his granddaughter who wishes to meet Peeta in person. We learn that the visit not to adore Peeta with fan, but rather to get down to business.

The scene features a tense moment between the two, warning the damage a civil war could do. Snow tells Peeta that whether people like it or not, they sometimes become a symbol. Just as Katniss is the Mockingjay, Snow is a symbol of power. Snow asks Peeta to be the "friend" to help him reach the people.

"So you're asking me to be what, sir? You're voice of reason," Peeta asks. "You've understood everything but one small detail," Snow responds. "I'm not asking," he threatens with a smile.

The second deleted scene features Katniss getting a rough makeover, sadly because she is no longer in the hands of Cinna. Katniss (played by Jennifer Lawrence) is seen getting a bad makeup job by two women who appear to have never applied blush before in their lives.

One woman applies black liner across one eye, achieve the 'I just got punched' rather than the smokey eye look, as the other puts a blob of bright pink blush on Katniss' cheek.

"Stop! What are you savages doing," a glam-free Effie Trinket (played by Elizabeth Banks) says as she witnesses the horror. "This is the face of a revolution. Not some cave painting...have you even ever met rouge?"

Because she is no longer the face of the Games and now the face of a revolution, Katniss no longer needs to play the role of the girl on fire with elaborate costumes and makeup. Effie tells her she will fix the mess in the slightly humorous scene that turns serious with the mention of the loss of Cinna.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 will be available on Blu-ray and On Demand on March 6.
