The latest press release from The Walt Disney Company brings news for its subscribers as the company has now added a way to easily edit their Continue Watching list on Disney+. This latest quality-of-life feature drop offers a way for users to remove already finished movies or series and even content that they did not enjoy from the list.
According to Disney, users may use this feature on platforms like the web, Apple TV, and iOS devices for now, which means that the likes of browsers, Apple TV devices, iPhones, and iPads are the ones who can take advantage of the feature.
However, Disney has assured subscribers on other platforms like Android OS, Android TV, LG's webOS, and more that they will get the feature in future updates.
Here's How to Remove Shows From Your List
Removing a movie or show from one's Continue Watching list is quite simple, but how it's done will depend on which device they are using.
First, users on the Apple TV have two options. One can be within the homepage of the Disney+ app where users have to highlight the show they want to remove, and then long-press the select button (for Apple TV, the large circular button in the middle) on their remote. Users may also visit the show's main page and find the subtract icon to remove it.
For mobile devices, users only need to tap on the three-dot menu and select "Remove," then confirm its deletion process from the Continue Watching.
On the other hand, web users may hover their cursor on the show and wait for the subtract icon to appear to proceed with the removal process.
