Adding music to a post has been a feature that Meta shared with users on Facebook and Instagram as a way to better express one's self, and this specific feature is also reportedly coming to Threads in the future. Considering that Threads is a version of Instagram that is focused on a microblogging experience, it is only natural for it to receive the top-enjoyed features on the photo-sharing app.
Despite being under Instagram, Threads had blossomed into a unique and special app that offers the fast-paced short-word experience that was popularized by Twitter, now one of its largest rivals.
Threads to Add Music to Your Posts in the Future Says Reports
Alessandro Paluzzi shared another unreleased feature from Meta's Threads which is another massive experience coming to the short-word social media platform, and this is set to deliver music for all. Users have only enjoyed the limited accepted forms of media to post on Threads which included photos, videos, links, GIFs, and more, but music is not yeta supported one.
However, this may change in the near future as it was already spotted in Threads' codes, with the feature still under development from Meta but is expected to be announced soon for users.
To be more precise, this is still an internal prototype from Meta that while already offered a glimpse of what will arrive in the future, it may still change drastically or face significant delays from the company.

Meta's Instagram Music Is Also Coming to Threads
That being said, it is still a massive addition for Threads which is known for being closely related to Instagram, and this Music feature has long been available to the multimedia-sharing social media. Users may add music to their Threads posts in the future, and the experience will be similar to Instagram's Post, Stories, or Reels where users may select it from the massive library and choose the specific part of the song to feature.
The Latest Features Available on Threads
Threads may have started late in the game, but it has been one of the fastest-growing social media platforms in the market and Meta went all-in for what their microblogging platform can offer. One of the biggest features of Threads was its expanded features for businesses which offer analytics and allow users to create and save multiple drafts which they could later post.
Later on, the company teased that it would also add the 'Scheduled Posts' feature that would allow users to line up the content for specific dates and timelines, expanding more of its business or creator-focused experiences.
Apart from this more business-oriented Threads experience, Meta also made sure to add features that are available for all to enjoy, and this includes mute notifications, limit quotes, and more, which helps a user prioritize their well-being online.
Meta recently celebrated Threads' stellar climb to 275 million users who joined the platform, with it being highly regarded as one of the best apps in the present, and is also a top-regarded X alternative. Instagram Music allowed users to customize their experiences and express more of how they feel on Posts, Stories, and Reels, with this same feature reportedly coming to Threads soon.
