The latest for the Vision Pro experience expands more on its renowned 'Environments' list which offers virtual backgrounds for users to see, now offering 'Lake Vrangla' available to access. This latest background offers a 360-degree field of view for users, showing off a foggy environment in a remote lake, surrounded by land and trees, with an overall gloomy feel.
Not all Vision Pro users are fans of the Passthrough feature which uses its cameras to capture the real world, with Environments offering a full VR mode.
Apple Vision Pro Adds 'Lake Vrangla' Environment
Online users who own the Vision Pro shared the latest offer from Apple which expands more on its virtual backgrounds, with Lake Vrangla providing new views inside the headset. This is made available under its Environments feature which focuses more on immersive places that users may see all around, no matter where they are facing.
According to MacRumors' report, Lake Vrangla is based on a real-world place that is near Oslo in Norway.
It was also revealed that Lake Vrangla offers a night version for users which depicts a sunset scene, as well as streaming a video over the lake would bring reflections from the water.
Vision Pro: Full VR Mode with Environments
Lake Vrangla is the latest from vision Environments, a feature that centers on a full VR mode that entirely blocks the outside world or turns off the Passthrough mode. The likes of Mount Hood, Yosemite, the Moon, and more are some of the available Environments from Cupertino, with more coming from Apple in the future to offer users who prefer this view.
It was previously revealed that a Bora Bora Environment will join the visionOS 2's release coming later this year.
Apple Vision Pro and Its Features
The spatial computer in a wearable headset form factor from Apple is one of its most advanced technologies to date, with it being the top-regarded mixed-reality device available in the market. Among its renowned features include an immersive experience with spatial audio for users, with Apple also expanding on new movies available on its Apple TV app.
One of the most iconic features of the mixed-reality headset is its Passthrough feature which allows users to mirror the world beyond the wearable while integrating it with augmented reality technology. However, this feature was notoriously abused by early users of the Vision Pro, particularly with users wearing it while driving, a feat that Apple discourages.
From streaming movies and series from different platforms, down to an immersive gaming experience, lifestyle apps, and more, Apple's Vision Pro offers a plethora of features for users to enjoy with the wearable. Through Environments, users may now block the outside world and go in full VR mode, adding a new place called Lake Vrangla for users to enjoy in the wearable.
