Spotify's latest quarterly earnings report revealed its plans for the future Spotify HiFi tier, with Ekrevealing that it would cost users around $20 per month to receive the experience. It was regarded by the Spotify CEO that this is expected to be offered at around $17 or $18 monthly price point, $5 more than the latest Spotify Premium tier.
Not much more was revealed by Ek in this announcement, particularly as he regarded that more features are coming to this new tier that he still does not wish to discuss.
While there were no specifics from the Spotify CEO about these additional features, it was revealed that HiFi audio would only be one of the many offers of this new tier.

The expensive HiFi tier from Spotify would be the 'deluxe version' of the music streaming platform's subscription tiers, but it remains unknown what would the company call this. It is also worth mentioning that Ek revealed that Spotify's HiFi audio plans are still in their 'early days,' and this may suggest that it is far from being available to the public despite rivals already offering equivalent lossless audio.

Last year, it was rumored that this HiFi or Lossless Audio offer from Spotify would be called the "Supremium," and it is a step further from its Premium streaming tier, according to its previous codename. This feature was supposedly meant for audiophiles and music aficionados who are particular with the quality of the music they stream.
It is widely known that Spotify's rivals in these kinds of offerings include the likes of Apple Music and Tidal who both offer Lossless Audio.
As early as 2022, there were rumors that Spotify's CD-quality streams would be available for a monthly subscription of $19.99, one of the most expensive individual tiers there is, but was referred to as 'Platinum.' Now, the latest from Spotify's CEO reconfirms this around $20 pricing for its HiFi audio offers, a tier, and experience that remains unknown when it would be launched.
