The next smartphone release from Google, Pixel 9, will reportedly feature the company's top-tier AI model once it isreleased, with a 1-year Gemini Advanced subscription to be available for free to buyers. This is among the various freebies that Google will allegedly offer to buyers alongside its new flagship smartphone series that will arrive earlier than expected, as confirmed last month.
Instead of its usual release amidst the Fall season in October, Google will make Pixel 9 available two months earlier this August.
Google Pixel 9 to Reportedly Bring 1-Year Free Gemini Advanced
The latest Google app beta version 15.28 (via 9to5Google) pointed out an upcoming freebie to reportedly arrive with the Pixel 9 series once it launches this August 13. According to the report, selected Pixel 9 purchases would come witha complimentary 1-year subscription to Google's most powerful tier, Gemini Advanced.
It was revealed in the code that Google will offer Gemini Advanced to all "Pixel Pro" devices that will arrive later this year, pointing out three smartphones from the lineup. This includes the likes of the Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
Many leaks and reports are also expecting a massive arrival of Google's top AI features for Pixel 9, with its competitors in the market focusing on the onboard AI features like the Galaxy S24 series.

What to Expect from Gemini Advanced on Pixel 9?
Gemini Advanced is Google's "most capable" AI model available in its developments, and it is also the most expensive option among the subscription tiers of the technology. Allegedly, Gemini Advanced would be the key to accessing the upcoming 'Gemini Live' experience that will come with the Pixel 9 series.
Alongside this, Google's code also revealed 2TB of storage coming with the Pixel Pro purchases.
Google's Upcoming Pixel 9 Series
Google will bring massive changes to the Pixel 9 series this year, and the company has a lot in store for its fans and loyal users who await the flagship Android smartphone from the company. First off, it will feature a new SoC processor with Pixel 9 featuring the Tensor G4, with the internet company using the ARMv9-A core architecture, but itsbenchmark tests suggested almost similar numbers to Pixel 8.
It will also usher in a new design for the Google smartphone series where it will ditch its curved body, focusing on rounded edges similar to the iPhone series.
One of the earliest leaks behind Google's Pixel 9 development is an all-new AI voice assistant called 'Pixie AI' which isknown to replace Google's Assistant which has been available since the first one.
Leakers also suggested that Google will ditch the Pixel Fold's standalone releases and bring the foldable device under the Pixel 9 series, calling it the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
