DigiTimes identifies Taiwanese manufacturers Largan Precision and Genius Electronic Optical (GSEO) as the primary suppliers for the iPhone 16 Pro's periscope camera components.
Largan, already the trusted supplier of the iPhone 15 Pro Max's lenses, is poised to maintain its leading role.
Newcomer GSEO is currently undergoing a rigorous validation process, with production potentially starting in mid-July if their lenses meet Apple's stringent standards, according to MacRumors. This potential addition could help boost overall iPhone 16 Pro lens availability.
