Gigantic Update for 'Skydance's Behemoth'

The State of Play event also unveiled the gameplay trailer for Skydance's Behemoth, a promising VR title in which players battle numerous foes, including gigantic creatures, much like Kratos did against most of his opponents in God of War.

New PSVR 2 gameplay footage of the upcoming VR fantasy action RPG, developed by Skydance Games, best known for The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, features graphic combat, severed heads, and the titular beasts that players will encounter.

A sword, bow, arrow, and even the character's bare hands are just a few of the weapons gamers can wield in this game. The game's debut trailer featured behemoths that appear to stomp and murder everything in their path. It's a terrible sight, especially when viewed through a VR headset.

The backdrop of the game is a wasteland ravaged by plague that was formerly home to a powerful kingdom whose people were driven mad.

Skydance's Behemoth is set in the Forsaken Lands, described as "your gauntlet and your hunting ground." According to reports, Skydance's Behemoth will arrive on the Meta Quest platform, PC VR, and PSVR 2 in fall 2024.

Marvel Rivals on State of Play

Marvel Rivals, a superhero team-focused PvP shooter featuring characters from Marvel Comics, also debuted at the State of Play. It was revealed that the team shooter would be available on the PS5, PC, and Mac when it launches.

Marvel Rivals' precise release date is still uncertain, but the new trailer showed off its gameplay, two new characters, Venom and Adam Warlock, and the recently unveiled Hela. NetEase Games, the game's developer, has disclosed that a closed beta test is scheduled for July.
