Zotac is making a splash in the gaming industry with its new handheld console, the Zotac Zone.
This innovative gaming console features a seven-inch, high-refresh-rate, touch-enabled screen and two-stage adjustable triggers. What sets the Zotac Zone apart from its competitors is its OLED display, a feature that many of its rivals lack.
OLED Display as a Game-Changer in Handheld Gaming
Some people think it's only a screen, and there will be a minimal difference if you don't switch to OLED. However, gamers know what type of enjoyment awaits if they play on a bigger, brighter display.
The Steam Deck and the Nintendo Switch are the only gaming handhelds with OLED display options. This time, a third console, the Zotac Zone, will be available.
Zotac knows what job needs to be done, especially if it's competing with the top-tier handheld gaming devices in the market, including Lenovo Legion Go and ASUS Rog Ally. It's one way to set it apart from the conventional approach of the rest.
Since it's still fresh from an announcement, Zotact remains quiet about Zone's specs and what special features gamers can expect. However, the biggest revelation will take place at Computex next week.
At the time, Zotac has only announced that they will have "functional prototypes" available at the event for visitors to try out.
Speaking of potential specs, this portable gaming PC could sport a powerful processor, and ComputerBase reported that it will have an AMD Ryzen APU.
"Ever since the establishment of the ZOTAC Gaming brand, we have strived to provide an unmatched gaming experience for enthusiasts worldwide. We have made considerable efforts to raise the bar with our debut handheld, tailor-made with competitive features for all gamers," ZOTAC's CEO Tony Wong said.

Zotac is Not the Only One Releasing a New Console
According to The Verge, other hardware companies are also gearing up to release the next versions of their handhelds as Zotac prepares to showcase the Zotac Zone.
Asus is set to reveal the ROG Ally X on June 2, and there are rumors that Lenovo is developing a "Lite" version of the Legion Go.
Zotac's leap into the portable PC gaming market with the OLED-equipped Zotac Zone promises to shake up the industry.
The upcoming announcement will definitely pique the interest of console fans who long to see a new handheld console after Steam Deck.
