A new leak surfaced behind Call of Duty's upcoming releases centering on three classic, fan-favorite weapons that will make their way to Modern Warfare III and Warzone.
The reports claimed that this would no longer be part of the Season 3 releases as it will soon end, suggesting that these renowned weapons would be available to use come Season 4, which will take shape towards the end of May.
The upcoming wave of new content offered in Season 4, alongside new events and experiences, will also deliver the much-awaited return of classic weapons.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Leaks: Classic, Fan-Favorite Weapons Coming
Renowned leaker Charlie Intel shared on a post via X that new weapons are coming in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone 2.0, featuring famed classic weapons from past games.
First, there is the STG44, the assault rifle from the classic Call of Duty titles, which focuses on World War II and was left out of the different modern takes of the game.
Next, another classic weapon from the war-era games, the bolt-action sniper rifle Kar98k, also made its way to Warzone before the sniper rifle.
Lastly, there is the modern classic shotgun known as the Spas-12, and according to ComicBook Gaming, this is one of the most popular shotguns in the game, first released in the original Modern Warfare 2 in 2009.
What to Expect from Call of Duty: MW3 and Warzone's Season 4?
ComicBook Gaming claimed that Season 3 is coming to an end, and it recently released the mid-season update, Reloaded, to gamers last week, which means that these three classic weapons may be coming in Season 4.
There is still no word about what Season 4 will bring, but it will kick things off with a bang at the end of May, featuring these classic, fan-favorite guns.
Activision Blizzard's Call of Duty Season 3
Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone's Season 3 is halfway into the season, and it is ending soon. The recent releases offer massive changes to the game, including the arrival of Rebirth Island.
Additionally, it brought significant new skins to enjoy from the game, including the Cheech & Chong bundle which commemorated the Vancouver-based artists with skins and more.
It also brought the BEAST glove, the melee weapon inspired by the king of Skull Island, King Kong, based on its recent collaboration with the game.
