The latest update on Season 3 of Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 is here. It brings several improvements and tweaks to the game's content, particularly new bug fixes for the battle royale.
Additionally, these new changes focus on the weapons found in Warzone 2.0, nerfs and buffs for certain guns, and lethal throwables in the game.
Alongside this, Activision Blizzard also released the patch notes for this release, which brought an update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 Season 3 Update Now Live
Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 was given a new Season 3 update now, with Activision Blizzard centering on several improvements to the multiplayer experience available in the game.
Changes were made to several weapons in the game, centering on different categories:
- Assault Rifles include the MTZ-556, Holger 556, and Modern Warfare II's M16 Carbine.
- SMGs also got adjustments for the RAM-9, Striker, and WSP Swarm.
- One Sniper Rifle, the MORS, saw a correction.
Attachments to the weapons like the MORS Hexer Optic and ECS Requieter Suppressor Muzzle also saw tweaks.
Lastly, two Lethal equipment, including the C4 and Frag Grenade, were fixed.
Patch Notes for Warzone 2.0's Season 3 Update
The patch notes on Warzone 2.0's Season 3 update also bring significant bug fixes from discovered issues from the recent release, centering on the multiplayer battle royale.
- Fixed issues preventing High Trip challenges from tracking properly.
- Fixed an issue where the Signal Intelligence public event would complete other hacking contracts.
- Fixed an issue causing Mosquito Drones to disappear in a player's hands when hit by a Shock Stick.
- Fixed an issue causing players to hear incorrect VO from Biometric Scanners.
- Fixed an issue causing the amount of Bots spawning into the Bootcamp playlist to be inconsistent.
Activision Blizzard's Call of Duty
There have been recent updates for Call of Duty in the past month, and these massive releases have significant improvements to the game, including the arrival of the much-awaited delayed mobile experience. Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile dropped last March 21, delivering the mobile availability of the famed battle royale game alongside its various modes available.
In celebration of the new Warzone Mobile, the company is also on its way to deliver a Season 3 update for the console and PC version of the game, centering on both Modern Warfare III and Warzone 2.0. Alongside this, new cosmetics and weapon blueprints are on the way to the game, including a special drop this April 20, a.k.a. 4/20, commemorating the iconic duo of Cheech and Chong.
Season 3 also marks Rebirth Island's return to Warzone 2.0, alongside new game modes, maps, weapons, characters, and more to the entire experience.
