Rumors are now claiming that this year's Xbox Games Showcase already has a date, this June 2024, for the world to see and experience from Microsoft.
Apart from that, Microsoft will flex its ownership of Activision Blizzard by announcing the upcoming Call of Duty game that is expected to be available this year, with several expected titles also coming here.
Xbox's annual showcase is one of the most anticipated in the gaming industry, now more so thanks to its purchase of Activision Blizzard.
Xbox Games Showcase Rumored for June 2024 Event
The Xbox Games Showcase will take place on June 9. It will center on the company's annual report on the latest developments and upcoming titles for the Microsoft-owned platform.
Several titles await their announcement for the Xbox and PC platforms, something the showcase would expand on for the world to learn more about.
It was also revealed that some of the games expected for the event are Avowed, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
According to reports, last year's Xbox Games Showcase took place on Sunday, June 11, which is close to this year's schedule.

New Call of Duty Coming, Says Rumors
However, apart from the abovementioned games, Xbox is taking this opportunity with the Games Showcase to flex a game under its property, with a new Call of Duty game allegedly coming, said Insider Gaming.
The rumor said that it is Call of Duty: Black Ops Gulf War, which means that Activision Blizzard and Microsoft are moving forward with the modernization of past COD games like Modern Warfare I to III.
Despite these many corroborators, take this information with a grain of salt, as Xbox has not yet confirmed.
Xbox and Activision Blizzard
Xbox is now at the pinnacle of global gaming, particularly because it owns various game studios and developing companies, including Bethesda Softworks and Activision Blizzard.
That being said, the company is now poised to be more than Microsoft's gaming division, with a possible game distribution business coming in the future with cross-compatibility rumors.
One of the top and most played first-person shooter (FPS) games in the world, Call of Duty, was once feared to be an Xbox or PC exclusive, but this was something that Microsoft clarified before.
Sony and Microsoft previously reached an agreement for the long-term availability of the Call of Duty franchise on the PlayStation, with Sony initially fearing that this would happen and looking to dispute the merger.
Activision Blizzard's earlier events may no longer take place, as they would be part of Microsoft's Xbox Games Showcase and other events that update new games and other experiences.
With June fast approaching, an Xbox Games Showcase is rumored for its second week, and Call of Duty taking on the center stage as part of Microsft and Xbox for the first time.
