Meta's Horizon Worlds received significant new features today, and some are under testing. Quest offers certain experiences similar to those offered by the Sony PlayStation 5 for gamers.
These new features are available to enjoy via the latest v157 release of Horizon Worlds available on Quest headsets, centering on new capabilities accessible in virtual reality.
There is more to enjoy from this latest version of Horizon Worlds claims Meta, with several early access features available for world creators to deliver.
Meta Horizon Worlds: PS5 Feature Now Available
Horizon Worlds' new version 157 is here. It brings significant new features and updates to the metaverse experience available on Quest VR and early access via mobile and web.
First, it brought a renowned feature to PS5 gamers, particularly the Instant Replay, which is currently under testing on the wearable platform.
This new feature allows users to capture moments with friends or on their solo adventures and instantly see what they took to review. Users may access this feature by tapping on the Camera icon in their respective worlds.
Users may also opt out of this feature by going to Settings > General > Instant Replay and turning it off.

Horizon Worlds New Features Now Testing
However, the Instant Replay was not the only addition to Horizon Worlds; it also brought the new Frame Budget Boost under early access for world creators to help develop the experience better.
On the other hand, Meta also highlighted several bug fixes, including worlds getting "frozen" when the headset is put to sleep.
Moreover, OnPlayerEnterWorld also got a fix. Other issues, like media not loading triggers not being activated, rolling a world in preview, and the Dynamic Light Gizmo, are still under investigation.
Meta's Quest and Horizon Worlds
The first entry from the then-Facebook company into the metaverse, Horizon Worlds, was released in 2021. The experience is now three years old and running, available for the public to enjoy with Quest headsets.
It offered a platform for users who want to interact, play, and enjoy the virtual world by being anyone they want to be in the virtual space.
Last year, Meta significantly overhauled Horizon Worlds, joining it with a new in-house studio called Ouro Interactive, which helped the company bring massive new features and experiences here.
The company's goal is to make more first-party experiences available on its take on the metaverse, with VR games and other mini-features coming.
Also, last year, Meta brought the Horizon Worlds experience outside the VR space and into the web and mobile platforms in early access for more players to join.
Horizon Worlds is still touted as the top Meta metaverse experience on the Quest, now featuring the Instant Replay like the PS5 and more features in v157's release.
