Stardew Valley Update: Conspiracy Theory Confirmed, But Bug is Now Fixed on PC

The upcoming update on Stardew Valley confirms a conspiracy theory.

Developer ConcernedApe confirmed a long-time conspiracy theory on Stardew Valley, with fans going wild about what it meant in the game before, as it was not addressed in various updates of the game. However, while this centered on a different kind of advantage, Stardew Valley's update version 1.6 would already fix this bug, with this patch taking place next week for the PC platform.

This famed bug was only apparent on the PC version, as console users are only given a chance to engage with this activity in one way.

Stardew Valley Update Confirms Conspiracy Theory In-Game

ConcernedApe went to X to reveal several bits of information about Stardew Valley's upcoming update on March 19, one that would address one long-time conspiracy theory in the game. In this post, the creator showed part of the patch notes of update 1.6, saying that it addresses the left-to-right farming speed on PC, one that has been debated by players for a long time.

It was addressed by gamers before that to a certain degree, farming left-to-right is faster compared to right-to-left methods, with some claiming that it is two seconds faster for seven rows of harvest.

The developer, Eric Barone, also said that the right-to-left animation on farming in-game is 100m/s slower compared to the faster method, now no longer a conspiracy theory as the creator confirmed it.

Stardew Valley Update 1.6: Bug Will be Fixed for PC

It was added by Barone that Stardew Valley update 1.6 will now fix the bug, and he clarified that the fix would make it "equally fast," and not bring it down to the right-to-left level. That being said, this farming method can only be found in the PC version of the game, and this is because console gamers only have one direction for farming in Stardew Valley.

ConcernedApe's Stardew Valley

The renowned game from ConcernedApe, Stardew Valley, may be an old game and one that has not had many updates since its inception in 2016, but it is still one of the most popular RPG simulation games in the market. It was previously promised that update 1.6 would be one of the biggest releases of the title, one that would be massive for modders in the game.

It also comes alongside the latest RPG development of the developer, one that transcends Stardew Valley and will focus on a spooky theme for this focus on another simulation game. ConcernedApe's Haunted Chocolatier aims to deliver almost the same experience as the previous successful release, but in this approach, it will drift away from farming and more into venturing into a haunted shop.

The long wait for update 1.6 is coming to an end for Stardew Valley fans as it is seeing a release come next week on Tuesday, March 19, to deliver the latest from ConcernedApe. It addresses an important bug fix that will make both methods of farming in-game equally fast, going past the confirmed conspiracy theory that left-to-right is faster compared to the other way around.
