There is now a reported target release date for the Samsung Galaxy Ring, the latest health tech wearable from the South Korean tech giant which it introduced last January event, coming this July. Alongside this new health tech wearable from Samsung is the slated new foldable of the company, bringing in the updates for the renowned folding lineup.
Its new Galaxy Ring is one of the most anticipated techs from the company, initially teasing a wide range of health tech tracking features coming for many.
Samsung Galaxy Ring, New Foldables Reportedly Coming by July
The trusted South Korean news publication, ETNews, delivered a new report on Samsung's plans to formally bring the Galaxy Ring to the world, but it would not be the only tech coming by the start of 2024's second half. The new health wearable will be accompanied by the planned upgrades for its foldable lineup, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip6.
It is worth noting that last year's Galaxy Unpacked which showcased the two foldable smartphones took place on July 26, expected to go on a full circle this year with its latest developments.
This back-to-back-to-back event would feature the three devices said the report, and would not single out the Galaxy Ring's reveal.

What to Expect from the Possibly July Event from Samsung?
The July Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event would deliver the awaited health-tracking wearable from the company, one that it teased earlier this year which did not yet have concrete details for what it has to offer. First off, it is expected that the Galaxy Ring would deliver health and fitness tracking capabilities like sleep tracking, blood flow monitoring, and allegedly, an ECG.
It was also said to feature wireless payments and remote controls for other devices. On the other hand, the new Fold6 and Flip6 are speculated for their budget versions, as well as new features like AI for the mainline releases.
Samsung's Galaxy Ring and Upcoming Foldables
It was initially believed that the Galaxy Ring would serve as an accessory for an upcoming XR wearable from Samsung, but it was later unveiled by the company to be a standalone health tracker to pair with its devices. Last Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung's S24 series reveal delivered a teaser for the upcoming Galaxy Ring, slated for this year.
Apart from the S24 series and the revealed smart ring, there are also devices from Samsung that are expected to arrive this year, centering on new updates for its foldable smartphones for 2024. Both the Galaxy Z Fold6 and the Z Flip6 are speculated for their respective updates, but more importantly, the massive talks behind the "budget" or entry-level variant coming this year.
It is yet unknown what Samsung is planning for the said showcase coming this July, or if there will be one as this is still based on speculation, but it would leverage more of what the company has to offer now. The Samsung Galaxy Ring is already confirmed but no release dates yet, and July may be the time when people get to see it in actuality, alongside the planned upgrades for the foldable lineup.
