Tekken 8 Leak: DLC to Bring Three New Characters
A renowned leaker posted to their thread again, reviving the massive leaks regarding the Tekken 8 DLCs that would feature new characters joining the fight.
In their tweets, there are a total of six characters speculated to arrive, but the first season DLC, will only feature three new characters for the game. First off, there is Lidia, a character appearing as a Tekken 7 DLC, but the leaker did not yet find the character's fighting style in the codes.
Next, there is the return of the big fighter, Craig Marduk, saying that his code is still present.
Lastly, Bandai Namco will also bring Fahkumram, the Thailand Muay Thai fighter.
It is important to note that Tekken 7 had a total of 51 characters in the entirety of its launch for the DLCs offered by Bandai Namco, and so far, Tekken 8 has only brought 21 characters in its release roster for the base game.
What to Expect from Tekken 8's Leaks
All three of the leaked characters coming to Tekken 8 as the first DLC of the game were also DLCs released on Tekken 7, suggesting that it will look to bring the same number on its roster soon.
Moreover, there are also other characters to expect via the future seasons and DLCs, with an unnamed Australian fighter coming alongside the likes of Eddy, Anna, and Armor King.
Tekken 8 and What it Offers
The latest from Bandai Namco's famed beloved franchise is the eighth installment of its mainline fighting game, Tekken 8, offering what seems to be the conclusion to the Mishima bloodline storyline as Jin faces Devil Kazuya. It was released only weeks ago, on January 26, available on various platforms including the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S and X, and the Windows PC.
Initially, on the game's release, it provided a character roster of 21 fighters to join the game, including the likes of the most famous fighters in the franchise. Some of the original cast were present here with Paul Phoenix, Marshall Law, King, Kazuya Mishima, Nina Williams, and Yoshimitsu, combined with the new and recurring characters from the other versions of the games.
Now that many are enjoying the different features Bandai Namco has brought to the world with Tekken 8, the next step is for new experiences to arrive and offer more from the renowned action. Lidia, Fahkumram, and Marduk are what the leak centered on to be coming soon as DLCs, but also mentioned the likes of Eddy, Armor King, and Anna coming in the later seasons.
