Niantic's renowned AR-based game, Pokemon GO, will soon bring the highly-anticipated November Community Day Classic to the world, and in this outing, the company revealed its featured character, Mareep. There is a lot to look forward to for avid fans and casual gamers on this Community Day, and it was reported that this may be the last event for this season.
The game still experiences a massive player base in the present, with many enjoying the offers and experiences to become a virtual trainer surrounding the world of Pokemon.
Pokemon GO November Community Day Classic Features Mareep
Pokemon GO announced its upcoming November Community Day Classic for all gamers, and the game named the creature that will appear more frequently, featuring Mareep, the Electric-type Pokemon from Generation II. The event will start come Saturday, November 25, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM local time, with the team promising more frequent spawns of Mareep in the wild.
Moreover, there is a chance that a Shiny Mareep will appear for gamers as well.
Niantic also highlighted the final evolution form of Mareep, Ampharos, who will feature a special featured attack during this event, with Dragon Pulse offering 90 power for both trainer battles, gyms, and raids.
What to Expect from the November Community Day Classic
According to ComicBook Gaming, the roadmap of the Community Day Classic events revealed in August listed November 25 as the final date, meaning that this upcoming event may be the last of the season.
Still, gamers are in for a treat, as event bonuses include 1/4 of the hatch distance for eggs incubated during the event period, with Incense and Lure Modules activated amidst the Community Day Classic to last for three hours. Additionally, Niantic invites gamers to take a few snapshots for a special surprise.
An exclusive Community Day Classic Research story is also available for $1.00 (equivalent to your local currency). The Community Day Classic Box and various event bundles are also offering more items to score compared to regular purchases.
Pokemon GO and its Renowned Experiences
Since Nintendo and The Pokemon Company's collaboration with Niantic gave birth to Pokemon GO in 2016, it has been a game that captured the hearts of those looking to be a trainer, centering on an AR experience for all. Seven years after its release, Pokemon GO has continued to be popular, but earlier this April, the company saw its lowest monthly and only amassed $37.4 million.
However, this did not stop Niantic and its collaborators from bringing various experiences for gamers. First off, it only allowed traveling the land to encounter and catch Pokemon in the wild, with the main goal centering on growing one's Pokedex. But the game added various features since then, with Raids, Community Day events, Gym battles, trainer battles, and more available.
In this Community Day Classic, its exclusive Special Research story will require payment, but other experiences remain free and available to all, including bonuses and the higher rate of Mareep's appearance in the wild.
