According to Spencer, the drop of Activision Blizzard games into Xbox Game Pass may likely happen next year and not in the coming weeks, contrary to the many claims and speculations.
Xbox Game Pass to See Activision Blizzard Games by 2024
The Xbox Game Pass will not likely have Activision Blizzard games until 2024 and in the nearing weeks, as told by the CEO of Xbox, Phil Spencer.
In the latest official Xbox podcast, which discussed Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard King, Spencer talked about what the deal will bring to Xbox in the future, with massive possibilities underway.
The Xbox chief and Microsoft Gaming CEO confirmed that new experiences and more announcements will soon come for the Game Pass now that Activision Blizzard King is under the same roof with them.
According to The Verge, there have been several misinterpretations among the fans and speculators, causing wild rumors surrounding the famed deal before it was made official.

"Now that the deal is closed, we're starting that work, but there is work. I think the Activision Twitter handle... did put out something that talked about 2024, and I think that's accurate," Spencer said.
Further clarifying, the Xbox chief addressed the rumors of a special release of Activision Blizzard games on the Game Pass, saying, "I would love it if there was some kind of secret celebration drop that's coming in the next couple of weeks - there's not."
Microsoft's Acquisition of Activision Blizzard
Late last week, Microsoft achieved a significant milestone in its ventures: the acquisition of Activision Blizzard after a long and enduring fight with regulators and organizations that tried to block it.
The merger was made official as Microsoft inked the papers regarding its purchase of the famed company for as much as $68.7 billion for its entirety.
Apart from the many famous games from Activision Blizzard King in the consoles and computers, there are other plans for both companies to grow their gaming division.
The Xbox will reportedly focus on mobile and ads to earn more via its platform, expecting to make as much as $500 billion by the 2030 fiscal year, driven by in-app purchases and ads.
While it is true that Microsoft already owns Activision Blizzard and has the right to decide which will be immediately adopted for its many services, the company is not jumping the gun yet.
Xbox Game Pass is speculated to feature the games from Activision Blizzard in a few weeks, but Spencer clarified that these would not arrive until 2024, not having the "secret drops" expected by the public.
