Since its release in September, the Apple iPhone 15 series has seen massive complaints from users, and now, a new claim is stating that the iPhone 15 Pro Max's screens are experiencing OLED screen "burn-ins." According to various owners who shared their cases, the new smartphone's screen has imprints of previous images or displays stuck on the device's screen.
LED burn is best known and seen on old smartphones, alongside the poor quality of display technology, with many complaining against Apple now.
Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max OLED Screen sees 'Burn In'
A compiled report from Tarun Vats has shone a spotlight on the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max issue that several owners have complained about, giving clear evidence of this problem. This issue centers on the iPhone 15 Pro Max's OLED screen "burn in," where the previous images or display on the device gets embedded in the screen, with its LED keeping the same look.
Current reports only point out that the iPhone 15 Pro Max has these issues, something which a roster of owners have complained about online.
While OLED screen burn-in has been a significant problem before, TechRadar claims that modern display developments already minimized the risk of it happening.
iPhone 15 Pro Max Users Complain of its Screen
Users have raised this issue via the Apple Community Discussions forum, as well as Reddit, calling out the iPhone 15 Pro Max and going as far as to say that this is the "worst phone ever released by Apple." Still, this is not yet a spread-out issue as some reports claimed that they have not yet experienced this.
Moreover, Apple has not yet acknowledged the issue and what steps to take next for affected owners.
iPhone 15's Massive Complaints Now
While many consider the iPhone 15 as the best smartphone from Apple now, not all would agree with this statement as there are customers who already own the phone who claim to experience issues with it. One of the earliest problems with the iPhone 15 lineup is its overheating issues that would cause the smartphone to feel so hot to the touch, as well as give a warning to its users.
Since the iPhone 15 is fairly new, users may reset the device and remove the Apple ID connected or log onto it, and this makes the latest smartphone a target for thieves. This Apple ID Reset Feature is a double-edged sword, one which allows owners to reset the device like it is a new one, especially for those forgetting the passcode, but also makes it a prime feature for criminals.
Apple released the iPhone 15 with the most significant upgrade from the company for all of its smartphone releases, featuring significant experiences including its new Action Button, USB-C, satellite connection improvements, and more.
However, its many pros also brought various cons, from its overheating issues that lead to it being unusable, down to the OLED screen burn-in that is yet to be determined if it is Apple's fault.
