The Instagram chief has spoken, and this pertains to the highly-awaited iPadOS version of the Instagram app that will optimize the experience for the larger screen, saying that the company is currently not developing it. Many have awaited the Instagram experience on the iPad, and while there is an app, it is still the iOS version that stretches itself for the device.
Users could choose between 1x or 2x zoom for the iPad's Instagram app, and neither fits its screen, and its smallest option is not of the best quality.
Instagram's iPad App is Not Under Development says CEO
Adam Mosseri, the Instagram CEO, has answered various questions from fans and enthusiasts while he is traveling, using the Questions feature on Instagram stories to connect with users. Here, the CEO was asked regarding the iPadOS version of the platform will arrive, and this pertains to the *TRUE* iPad version where it is not an iPhone app ported to the device.
Mosseri answered that the company is "not working on it right now," and goes on to further explain the operations over at the company and how it prioritizes other things over it.
The tech CEO said that there are many people working on Instagram and the company prioritizes the "most important things" to improve its different offers to the world.

Will We Still Get an iPadOS Version of Instagram?
The Instagram Chief did not turn down the idea of creating an iPad version of Instagram, so this means that it is possible to see in the future, but as of this time, it is not yet under development. The Apple App Store's current iPad version is best known to be a small version where it is situated in the middle, and a black void surrounds it, with an option for a 1x or 2x zoom to fit one's needs.
Instagram Developments
Instagram is still one of the most famous and important apps from the company, centering on the media-sharing platform that Meta acquired almost ten years ago. It is part of the many developments of the company, both within the subsidiary and from Meta itself, with the most recent addition being the generative AI that allows the creating of stickers for chats and more.
Social media was redefined by X, better known as the former Twitter, particularly with its massive changes including the paid verification badge that appears on users' profiles. However, Instagram and Facebook also see this drive on the platform, with Meta now offering a paid subscription service to get the blue check, something that it started with Facebook earlier this year.
Meta's Instagram is popular among the global community, especially for Gen Z which features their life, products, talents, and more on the app. With many users around the world, different devices have access to the Instagram app, but sadly for iPad users, the experience is here but it is not optimized, something that is not a priority for the company after all this time.
