In the company's message on its website, the Right Stuf store will close come two weeks, with all of the products it sells will soon be available in the new Crunchyroll Store.
Over 30,000 products are coming to the Crunchyroll Store, courtesy of Right Stuf, with the famed selection of animes and videos, mangas and books, merchandise, collectibles, games, and more all coming to Sony.

Goodbye Right Stuf: 36 Years of Service
For 36 years since it started its business in 1987, Right Stuf has been among the top hubs for everything about Japanese anime, back in the time when it was hard to source in the United States. Short of four years to celebrate its fourth decade in the business, Right Stuf will live on via Crunchyroll Store, offering a wide variety of products and memorabilia for fans and collectors alike.
Crunchyroll and What it Offers
Crunchyroll has been among the staples in everything Japanese anime and it has been the renowned platform to enjoy binge-watching or following the many series or films available. Back in 2021, Sony completed Crunchyroll's acquisition from AT&T, with the deal costing them a handsome fee of $1.175 billion to purchase the platform and its entirety.
Various animes and series are available on Crunchyroll, including the famed Dragon Ball Super, which previously added English subtitles to its episodes, allowing a more understandable experience for the renowned series.
It is also iconic that streaming animes out of Japan was made easy by Crunchyroll, alongside its partnership with its competition, Funimation, promising a new experience for all.
Crunchyroll has fully dived into a streaming application as it no longer offers a free, ad-supported tier, going all Premium on what the company has to offer. Now, Sony has expanded more with Right Stuf's acquisition, offering a better experience with its integration, to the expense of the renowned source for Japanese anime dissolving within Crunchyroll.
