The renowned Apple leaker and analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, has spoken up about his information about the M3 Macs that are reportedly coming this year, and he is a bearer of bad news for its 2023 launch. Kuo has been firm since earlier this year about the company's development of the M3 chips, and he has claimed that it will not see the light of day this year amidst the many claims over the past months.
It now contradicts the previous report which famously claimed that Apple will release a new set of Macs featuring the M3 this October, believing that it is meant for 2024.
Apple M3 Macs are Canceled? Kuo Thinks It is NOT Coming this Year
Ming-Chi Kuo has taken his beliefs and analysis over at X, where the famed Apple insider claimed that MacBook models with the M3 chips are not launching before the year ends. In Kuo's words, the M3 developments for the Mac will not appear between now and December 31, 2023, but not entirely shutting down the idea of the MacBooks' upgrade to the M3.
Kuo has made it clear that Apple's M3 Macs are not coming this year in his previous posts and claims, and is expecting the devices' update by 2024.
Still, there are massive claims regarding Apple's M3 development to arrive this year, especially as Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reported heavily over the past months about the 2023 Macs.

According to 9to5 Mac, Kuo made it clear that this announcement is for 2023 "MacBook models," which may mean that the insider is hinting something between the lines.

Apple's M3 Development
The prominent and trusted Apple leaker and insider, Mark Gurman from Bloomberg has another thing to say about the Apple M3 Macs, as he said that it is coming this year. Gurman's report centered on the M3 iMac that will finally see its update after several skips from Apple, including a new M3 MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro also getting this upgrade.
Apple went big on M3's development, as per the reports, centering on the most cores for its CPU and GPU among all the M-series chips that it revealed in the past. The base version of the M3 will feature a 12-core CPU and an 18-core GPU, with the company also leveraging as much as 36 GB of RAM to equip the computer with its unified processor.
The only thing is that another Apple analyst believes that it is not coming this year, and Ming-Chi Kuo has been firm about this since earlier this year and is giving a different timeline for its 2024 availability. Kuo is setting the expectation for Apple fans to anticipate a 2024 release, but mainly centered on the MacBook models which may suggest desktop Macs are still on track this year.
