Massive leaks about an upcoming Apple chip have emerged. It centers on the M3 Ultra made under the alleged 3nm process by TSMC for the Cupertino-based tech giant.
In numbers alone, with the reported 32-core CPU for its processes and up to 80 cores of GPU, the M3 Ultra already revealed what it could deliver once it arrives for the public.
Those are massive specs for Apple's unified chip, effectively trumping the M2 Ultra's release from last year, which was already the fastest M-series semiconductor to date.
Apple M3 Ultra Brings A Whopping Upgrade for Chip
Mark Gurman's Power On Newsletter via Bloomberg may have the Apple Watch X be the star highlight. However, the analyst mentioned another device, the M3 Ultra, which is seeing a significant update to the company's chip.
The whopping upgrade would deliver massive specs for the computer, with as high as 32 cores for its CPU and up to 80 cores of GPU. The previous M2 Ultra offers a 24-core CPU, and users may max out their GPUs with either 60 or 76 cores, depending on their preference.
Despite this, it is still way off from what Gurman claimed for the upcoming M3 Ultra, a chip meant to trump its previous version as it offers a significant development.

What Device Is the M3 Ultra Coming With?
According to The Verge, the M2 Ultra was packed into the Mac Studio last year, and while it is unknown where Apple would pair the new M3 Ultra, there are speculations that it will arrive on the same computer.
However, there were reports of an upcoming iMac refresh for this year, with its last M-series released in 2021, and it has not been updated since.
At present, it is still unknown which device will include the promising M3 Ultra, especially with the many possible computers that could get this power.
Apple's M-Series Chip Development
Since leakers and analysts have talked about Apple's M-series chip developments and new Mac computers, they all center on upcoming releases for this year.
The switch to M-chips is already established, giving the public an Apple-made SoC that promises a massive process in a smaller package.
The 3nm process for the SoC is already going off to a promising start because of what it can contribute and bring to users with their future computer needs.
On its base version alone, the M3 allegedly comes with a 12-core CPU and an 18-core GPU which is already the most cores coming to the M-series from Apple's development.
Despite its many details, none are still confirmed by Apple and will likely stay like this until the company finally unveils what it has to offer to the world.
With the M3 still missing out, there are already reports behind the M3 Ultra, which would bring the Mac Studio better capabilities in handling creative and other processes.
